We moved to L.A. in 1964 returning to Texas later. We have great memories there. I had a beautiful 22 year sister that took me every where; I was about 10. My family was the first chicanos to move to an all white neighborhood in 1963 Catalina St between 3rd and Beverly blvd - must I say more. I am proud of my parents and my sister who lived through sneers from unfriendly neighbors. My parents and sister prevailed - since they were able to acquire better jobs then the neighbors. These pictures brought back wonderful memories, thank you , thank you, oh yes I remember getting on Harbor freeway and on to San Bernadino freeway. Now when I visit I don't hear their names but the interstate reference number. Thank you again!!!
